Introduction

The Streaming Extension is the Streaming engine needed for SOUND4 x8 Products. It supports encoding (MP3, AAC, HE-AAC, HE-AACv2...), metadada management and pushes to delivery servers (Flash, Darwin, Helix, Wonza, Icecast 2, Shoutcast…).

The Streaming Extension is also available in option for HD/FM Products.

Reminder...

Streaming extension uses PC resource (CPU), make sure your PC has sufficient resources.

The Streaming Extension takes advantage of multi-core processors (up to 8 cores).
